a romantic poet and a tireless crusader, who continues to create rich lyrical compositions in a
style best expressed, perhaps, as world organic, or global roots.
Born and raised in Switzerland,
he now makes his home in the culturally diverse city of New Orleans. His highly eclectic and highly
talented band,
The B-Goes, plays songs that are in turn sweet, melancholy, fun, funky,
angry, and ethereal.
Beyond his wildly
diverse and globally inclusive musical mélange, Hoffman espouses a
philosophy of political and social unity and often quotes his heroes,
Ghandi, and Martin Luther King, Jr.
