In northwest Florida spring turns to summer all too soon. Eating seasonally and embracing the changing weather means it is very exciting to see new crops being harvested. While farmers started planting at the tail end of winter there is something about the harvest and tasting the first fruits of the spring and summer that is exciting. I expect to see new and different produce every week now at the Palafox Market as the weather warms up!
