Guitarist Richard Gilewitz, Sally Spring with Ted Lyons, and songwriter Eric Taylor

Robert Linquist

Join us for WUWF's long running live music program, broadcast each month from Historic Pensacola Village. On December 4, host Pat Crawford welcomes Richard Gilewitz, Sally Spring, and Eric Taylor.

Richard Gilewitz has fascinated listeners with 6 and 12-string finger gymnastics for over 3 decades. All the while spinning enchanting yarns of a seasoned raconteur. His signature playing style delivers a diversity of banjo style patterns and classical arpeggios with a rhythmic percussive approach.

In addition to his concert performances, Richard offers his GillaCamp Guitar Workshops, Meet the Artist Seminars, and Avenues for Success Education Outreach programs. Richard is an old friend of RadioLive, making regular appearances over the past 20 years.

Sally Spring

Sally Spring was born in California and raised in North Carolina. She literally started singing even before she could speak. The daughter of an inventor and computer trailblazer whose classmates were Hewlett and Packard, Spring grew up thinking outside the box. At 11 years old, she bought her first guitar and figured out open tunings on her own.As a young adult, she played the coffee house and college circuits, and now more than 30 years later, Sally performs at major festivals, universities, and clubs wowing fans throughout the U.S. and Europe. Sally Spring makes "amazingly fresh music," as Relish magazine observes.

Eric Taylor

Eric Taylor is a sage musician, a lyrical genius and a master of the guitar. If you're familiar with the intricate Texas songwriter jigsaw puzzle, you probably already know a lot about Taylor. If you're not familiar with Taylor by name, you've probably heard his songs performed by people such as Nanci Griffith and Lyle Lovett.

He has created a multitude of fans and devotees that are legends themselves in the singer-songwriter realm, artists who have long considered Taylor to be a teacher and a lantern bearer whose time is long overdue.

All RadioLive performances take place at the Museum of Commerce, 205 E. Zarragossa Street in Historic Pensacola Village. Non-perishable food items for the benefit of Manna Food Pantries of NW Florida are accepted at the door in lieu of admission. Map and Directions.
