April is Child Abuse Prevention Month and to mark it, blue bows have been placed along Palafox Street in downtown Pensacola. WUWF’s Dave Dunwoody recently discussed the awareness effort with Stacey Kostevicki, the executive director of Gulf Coast Kid’s House, and Sherry Swann with Lutheran Services of Florida.
On Wednesday afternoon “Walk in My Shoes” begins at 2:45 at Gulf Coast Kid's House. The walk, just over seven miles, will end at the Publix Shopping Center in Gulf Breeze.
