Gustav was
barreling
ashore in
Louisiana,
Florida
Governor
Charlie
Crist
visited
Northwest
Florida to
check on
local
response. The
Governor was
on hand as a
team of
responders
from the
Florida Fish
and Wildlife
Conservation
Commission
left for the
storm-impacted
region to
the
west. Also,
his visit
included
stops at the
two shelters
in Escambia
and Santa
Rosa
Counties.
Sandra
Averhart
caught up
the Governor
at the
Milton
Community
Center.
