On Thursday, June 14, 2018, join us for the final installment of the 2017 - 2018 Experience UWF Downtown Lecture Series. "Murals and City Space: Past and Present" will be held at the Historic Pensacola Museum of Commerce, 201 E. Zaragoza St. The reception begins at 5:30 p.m. and lecture at 6 p.m. Join the conversation as our panelists discuss murals and the visual landscape through time. The panelists will touch on Pensacola’s history and the role of murals within city space. They will discuss murals as objects and symbols of historical and visual culture. Finally, they will consider who and what regulates city space and our visual landscape. Dr. Amy Mitchell-Cook, UWF associate professor and chair of the UWF Department of History, will moderate the panel.
